The snappi fasteners are definitely an improvement over normal diaper fasteners and if your using cloth diapers I'd give them a try.
However one thing we've noticed is that by simply folding the diaper into a pad and using a cover we usually manage to soak up most of the mess anyway and this method doesn't require any fasteners at all. As my daughter gets older I'm sure we'll need more absorbent pads/diapers but for now the cheapies we got work fine and I can't find a reason to fight with her to get the diaper on and fastened when I can just fold it up and lay it in the cover, which I have to wrestle to get on her anyway. If you're doing a traditional diaper fold then I'd say these are worth a try. Make sure your cloth diapers are well padded as the teeth on these might possibly poke through thin diapers and scratch, though we haven't had that problem it was a concern.
Also make sure you get em on there tight, a fidgety baby, like mine, will tug at them and eventually get them off, which has happened.

For cloth diaper parents I'd say they're worth a try.
