We've always done a cold rinse cycle before doing the hot water cycle withAllen's Naturally liquid laundry detergent.Until recently, I have been satisfied with this washing regiment. Lately though, I've noticed that the clean diapers still smell a little off and any cover that my son was wearing when he had a bowel movement would need to be aired out to get rid of the smell. Plus the smell of ammonia was still strong even after the cold rinse cycle.

So when I saw this new prewash / super wash combo, I figured I'd give it a try. It is phenomenal! After the cold rinse with the prewash, the diapers in the machine didn't smell of ammonia anymore.Then after the wash with super wash, my son's diapers smell completely clean coming out of the washer. The covers smell clean too even the ones that had bowel movements. I am a convert! I still use the Allen's Naturally for my son's clothes, but I will be using Thirsties prewash & super wash for the diapers from now on.
