Made from 100% woollen fabric, with a double layer in the wet zone to provide protection from leaks whilst maintaining the highest degree of breathability. Wool is so popular because it is the MOST breathable natural fibre for baby to wear. It is useful over cloth diapers because moisture from within the diaper is evaporated through the wool fibres. This in turn helps to keep baby drier, which is obviously more comfy for bub. When lanolised any urine in the wool fabric is neutralised as it evaporates. So, I guess you can say in a way that this cover is self-cleaning! Wool covers are great for night wear, when the diaper is on for much longer than during the day. If your baby sleeps all night, there is no need to change the diaper if he/she hasn't dirtied it. Wet diapers are fine...as long as it has the appropriate absorbency to last the night. Wool covers are a good night option as they will help keep the night diaper drier as that moisture is evaporated.
